CSA Info
Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) is a concept practiced around the world under the philosophy of an ideal farmer/consumer relationship. It benefits the consumer by providing a close connection with the growers and land producing their food. It benefits farmers by allowing them to concentrate on quality (instead of marketing) while receiving a fair price for their product.
Benefits
- Your produce will be delivered right to your door. If you can’t be home, it will be left in an iced, packed cooler.
- A bouquet of fresh cut flowers and herbs will be included in each week’s delivery.
- Each week great recipes will be included with the veggies you receive, along with a cost analysis showing your savings vs. store purchased.
- Your prodcue will be harvested the day you receive it assuring the best vitamin and mineral content available.
- The amount of food you recieve will not only be cheaper than store purchased organic produce, but less expensive than conventionally grown produce as well.
- Buying local strengthens our communities and buying organic promotes sound ecological practices.
